Comparison of Academic Results between Fully Autonomous and Non-autonomous Schools

School autonomy empowers schools to make decisions invest in matters that are important for the school. is also related increased or improved student performance. Since 2014, Bhutanese Ministry of Education implemented Central reform initiative, which granted school financial and governance. The initiative was as a result surmounting evidences on perceived decline quality education This research attempted determine if students’ performance board examinations over consecutive years one central schools. Using examination marks four years, this determined there were significant improvements performance, however findings inconsistent. Possible reasons inconsistent discussed.
